It was the first stop during one of my road trips in California: The Joshua Tree Nationalpark. I spent one day in that park and was very lucky with the sunset. The colors of the landscape changed over hours again and again. Green, blue, pink – I had an amazing time watching this spectacle with other travelers and backpackers. The trees are some kind of funny, but so beautiful and unusual. I had totally underestimated this cool place before. Now, the Joshua Tree National Park is definitely one of my favorites in the States. I really recommend you a stop here when you are in California. It’s not far away from Los Angeles and very close to Palm Springs, so make sure to plan a visit.
